HOLY MOLY GUACAMOLE it feels like it has been forever! The cat is back and so is silk. Everyone knows the classic silk swing top or slip dress, however, who knew silk could accentuate curves too! I’m loving this navy colour at the moment, however, I probably should have tanned before these photos because I look pale as. Paired with denim this top is the classic white girl at FOMO outfit (*Rolls eyes*), yet when paired with a fancy flippy skirt it’s your perfect going out ensemble.

I don’t know about you guys but this top reminds me of my old green art smock, and I kinda love it! The cold shoulder trend has been worn the world over, however, this summer it has spread like wild fire. Showing off those collar bones has never been so easy! Whether it’s the star of the show or not, Seed have mastered the perfect cold shoulder. The ruffling draws attention to the collar bone, whilst the flowy top allows that summer breeze in (thank god). The Olsen twins are no stranger to this trend, as the fashion designers / stylists rock it on the reg. Paired with a red lippy, it is perfect for those summer days.

Have flares ever gone out of fashion? I think not. Flares are the cool aunty of the fashion world, although sometimes underrated. It doesn’t take much to incorporate these into an outfit, that is fit for a 70’s rocker chick. With a simple top (let the pants do the talking!) and some heels, you’ll be in the light of floor in no time chilling with Lorde. With the likes of Miranda Kerr and Victoria Beckham getting in on the trend, you’ll wonder why you didn’t try it sooner! (I apologise for the lack of aesthetically pleasing cat).
